TED 2 Review | It’s The Usual Foul Mouth Ted & His Best Friend-Mark Wahlberg Against ‘Political Correctness’

Ted 2
Ted 2

Seth MacFarlane himself wouldn’t dare say TED 2 is anything close to his first installment when it comes to real comedy—but he surely uses TED 2 to clap back at his critics, making TED 2 seem more like a dry spoof.

Of course there wouldn’t be Ted without his best friend-John Bennett (played by Mark Wahlberg) and the two wouldn’t be such great buddies if they did not share the same insane DNA full of foul language—and enjoy the same illicit interest of smoking their brains out.

TED 2 kicks off with Ted, the talking Teddy bear wedding his girlfriend-Tami-Lynn ( played by Jessica Barth) and a marriage hoped to bring peace later turns into constant fights—and exchange of strong language. You may succeed in throwing some few foul words at TED but never expect to win; his character is a legend in that sector and he does not even spare his neighbours…

On the other hand, TED’s best friend-John Bennett is divorced from Lori Collins for six months and has lost interest in getting back into the game—having found deep solace in a new world of adult movies.  But that was short lived when TED stumbled on his thousands of collections—the two then decided to get rid of those movies, in an unexpected way.

Colour Purple Actress-Akosua Busia Says Her Ex Husband-Movie Director John Singleton Divorced Her Because He Was About To Hit Millions + She Sues Him For A ‘Lota’ Cash

Akosua Busia
Akosua Busia

Popularly known for playing Nettie in Colour Purple, Akosua Busia is back in the news—and this time, she is chasing her ex husband-movie director-John Singleton for some huge cash she claims the ‘Shaft’ director owes her…

Akosua Busia in a legal document filed in LA Family court claims, her then husband- John Singleton suddenly ditched her because Singleton was due to receive at least five percent of Shaft’s profits of more than $100 million—and he didn’t want her to have any.

But that is not really her central theme for the suit, Busia says, “she’s raising their daughter, Hadar Busia-Singleton
alone in Ghana, and despite a court order, the movie maker won’t budge on paying Hadar’s megabucks tuition from private schools in Ghana, England and Michigan,” report Bossip.

The actress added that “under the terms of their divorce, Singleton was supposed to pay for the girl’s education. But Busia said she had to front the tuition money when he didn’t, and she wants the Boyz In The Hood director to pay her $204,056—the amount she said she’s owed for their daughter’s education and after school activities for the over 12 years—and pay her $30,000 lawyer fees.”

‘A PIECE OF CAKE’ Book Launch in London On July 11…You Shouldn’t Miss It

Piece of Cake
A Piece of Cake

Patricia Sewungu has penned an intriguing thought-provoking auto-biography “A PIECE OF CAKE” which she will launch in London on 11th July, 2015 at the Nile Bar & Restaurant, 435 West Green Road, London, N15 3PJ—and you are all invited. Of course you do not have to miss it.

Though the book looks at her side of the story, it surely captures our stories too—remember, we do not live in isolation and whatever happens to us is a repeat of what has already happened.

The book “brings the reader up close with the author through the ages. In the first pages of her calamity-packed addiction biography, she delves into being born in the greater Masaka district into a politically active family till today.

She takes a look back at growing up facing several stereotypes, taking us fast through early school and her stint as a nursing assistant in the course of her senior four vacation and not long after, she makes her debut to Kampala in search of the good life, the green grass, her much desired “Piece of Cake.”

This move was largely resultant of good reads and stories about Kampala from her friend Aeron Nakamya. Kampala wasn’t the much desired green grass she had anticipated. Not for her, Patricia Sewungu looks like the new Oprah with a rough, lurid, not entirely verifiable story to tell.

PUT ON BLAST: What is Juliet Ibrahim Doing On A BLEACHING CREAM’S Billboard? | How Much Was She Paid For This ‘Insensitive’ Garbage?

Juliet Ibrahim Bleaching Cream
Juliet Ibrahim Bleaching Cream

For actress-Juliet Ibrahim, I wouldn’t be ‘indulgent’ with my words for the simple fact that; we are like Bob Marley and Weed—and also, she knows enough about the increasing problems of skin bleaching in our uneducated part of the world.

Let’s first tear down the political correctness which is ironically an attempt to escape public lashings like this. You wouldn’t catch anyone selling a cream with the words ‘Skin Bleaching’ anymore and this is because, we’ve aggressively tainted this phrase, killing the business around those two words.

However, the desperate and shrewd manufactures have adopted various industry synonymous and as such,  today’s bleaching creams are inconspicuously called ‘Skin Whitening’, ‘Skin Brightening’, ‘Skin Toning’, ‘Skin Lightening’  ‘Skin Polishing’ and sometimes ‘Skin Flourishing.’

It’s a smart disguise but mostly, the ingredients remain the same and commonly found in these creams is; hydroquinone. “In human medicine, hydroquinone is used as a topical application in skin whitening to reduce the color of skin. This use is banned in some countries, including the member states of the European Union under Directive 76/768/EEC:1976.”
