Mzbel, known in private life as Nana Ekua Amoah, was born on Boxing Day ,that is, December 26, 1979 in Accra to Mr Albert A. Amoah, an engineer and the late Agnes Nyarko. She is the last-born of seven children.

Kwaw ‘Abodam’ Kese
Born in the 80’s in Agona Swedru in the Central Region of Ghana to Mr. and Mrs. Botchwey, Kwaw Kese believes he came out singing and that the real thing started at J.S.S. when he was singing and rapping to his friends and doing some stage performances here and there.
He had his J.S.S education at Happy Home J.S.S and then went on for his Secondary education at Winneba Secondary School.
Nana Kontihene
Nana Kontihene is known as Emmanuel Nana Appiah Boateng and is a hiplife artiste in Ghana. Kontihene is the title given to the money chief or sika hene in Akan Traditional circles.
Emmanuel grew up in Kumasi, going to Martyrs of Uganda and Opoku Ware Secondary School (Akatakyie). He learned to play the piano at a very young age and can play the saxophone as well. He is also a student of Hampshire University studying business administration and commercial law.

Affectionately and deservingly dubbed the Godfather of Hip Life, Reggie Rockstone is a multi-talented rapper, producer and dancer credited with the origination of the hip life genre.
Reginald Osei was born in the United Kingdom on April, 11 in the late 1960s. He started out as a dancer in the early 80s and later trained as an actor before joining a rap group in England during the early 90s. However, he achieved moderate success in UK as a rapper. Upon his return to Ghana in the mid nineties he began work on his debut album which was released in 1997 titled “Makaa! Maka!” The album was innovative as he fucussed the traditional tune of high life with contemporary rap beats intricately woven with Twi lyrics, thus, producing a tune that appealed to mass audiences. The album went on to spin out over five hit singles which include “Agoo,” “Tsoo Boi,” “Nightlife in Accra,” and “Sweetie, Sweetie.”
