The 2016 MTV European Music Awards were held Sunday night in Rotterdam with some esablished acts picking up awards alongside more up and coming stars.
The ceremony took place at the Ahoy Rotterdam in the Dutch city Sunday night.

The final nominees list for the 2016 MTV European Music Awards have been released for this year’s ceremony which comes off in November.

The nominees list has little surprises, with Beyonce and Justin Bieber leading the way with five nominations each, followed closely by Adele on four.
