This year’s edition of one of Africa’s biggest musical concert, ‘Ghana Meets Naija’ has been scheduled for Saturday, June 9, 2018, at the Accra International Conference Centre (AICC) according to organizers.
According to organizers, this year’s edition of ‘Ghana Meets Naija’ will be bigger and fun judging from the A-list artistes billed to thrill the audience at the yet-to-be-held event.
The leader of Ghanaian hiplife group 4×4, Silvanus Dodji Jeoffry known on stage as Captain Planet has been accused by a Togolese-Ghanaian musician Kekeli Kosi Folli also known as SikaBoy for stealing his song “Akpeteshie”.
Kekeli has expressed dissatisfaction about Captain Planet’s action for stealing his song, which featured WanLov Da Kubolor and was released a few months ago.

The rapper speaking on Rainbow Radio 87.5FM program ( midmorning drive) hosted by Sokoohemaa Kukua made a revelation of having had an extramarital affair with another woman.
Exactly a year ago, 4X4 member Russell Avornyo, aka Coded, was in a harrowing accident which left him hospitalized for a few weeks.
A year on, Coded is giving thanks to God for surviving the accident and regaining all bodily functions and continuing his career.
Coded, member of the 4X4 music group, has revealed that the idea for the group to go solo came from Fresh Prince and that he was actually in opposition to the idea.
According to him, the decision was taking collectively by the group after Fresh Prince brought the idea but at the time he wasn’t on board with it.
Captain Planet recently made headlines when reports emerged indicating his yet to be released song ‘Akpeteshie’ could face an FDA ban once it was released it if promoted the consumption of alcohol.
That instead raised the anticipation level for the song, which has now been released.
Member of the long time hiplife singing group 4X4, Coded, formerly known as Abortion, has all but confirmed the break-up of the group.
Coded, in an interview with Joy News, refused to answer any question about the group and said he would only do so after he has released his own song in the coming days.
Veteran hiplife group 4X4 haven’t released any new music together for a while but the Christmas period is just about to kick and they’ve decided to capitalize on it.
The group have dropped a new single for the season and they call it ‘Wo So’.
The individual members of the legendary hiplife group 4×4 have been working separately for a few years now to the point where they are hardly a group anymore, but member Captain Planet says breaking up is the last thing they are going to do.
Speaking to the state owned Graphic Showbiz, Captain Planet said that even though they are all doing their own thing, they are not thinking about breaking up at all as many groups have done.

Tv show host Amandah Jissih has expressed dismay with those sharing photos of 4X4’s Coded lying in a hospital bed online.
