Hot on the heels after having a new baby boy, sensational Contemporary Ghanaian gospel artiste, Cwesi Oteng, who is making huge waves on the Ghanaian music scene and beyond, is gunning for this year’s Africa Gospel Music Awards (AGMA) slated for Saturday, 7th July, at the Hippodrome in London.
The 2011 Ghana Gospel Industry Awards’ New Artiste of the Year, 2011 Vodafone-4Syte TV MVA winner of Best Gospel Video and 2011 Africa Gospel Music Awards nominee for Discovery of the Year and Best Gospel Video of the Year categories disclosed his excitement about receiving multiple nominations in this year’s AGMA over the weekend.
“I am excited that my creativity has once again been recognized by AGMA and it’s humbling to daily receive congratulations messages from friends and fans on the nominations received. It will definitely be a good feeling to win a couple of the categories if not all but I salute the works of all nominated and wish everyone the very best. I pray this recognition and eventual win will urge everyone especially young people to aspire to use their gifts to positively influence society and serve their generation and God faithfully,” Cwesi commented.
