The People’s National Convention is set to punish 72-year-old Dr. Edward Nasigri Mahama for accepting an appointment from President Akufo-Addo without the Party’s knowledge.
According to Bernard Mornah, Chairman of the PNC Speaking on Accra-based 3Fm, the news of the Party’s Former Flag bearer being appointed ‘Roaming Ambassador’ was a shock to the entire Party.
Mr. Alfred Okoe Vanderpuije, Chief Executive of the Accra Metropolitan Assembly (AMA) has rubbished claims relating to he saying he will be willing to work under the Akufo-Addo’s government.
According to him, he is a true loyal to the NDC party and would not work under any other government because the two parties obviously have different ideologies— urging the media to desist from reporting such unwarranted news.
Former Attorney General and anti-corruption crusader who has rightfully earned the title Citizen vigilante for himself has urged Ghanaians and all those lobbying for him to be a part of the newly elect president, Nana Addo’s team to desist from that act.
According to him, such only breeds corruption, something he is fighting against— he advised all to rather help Nana Addo in all ways they can so he would be able to deliver on his promises.
