Confederation of African Football (CAF) has released a shortlist of the 2013 African Player of the Year award and after the cut down, Asamoah Gyan will be competing with John Obi Mikel, Yaya Toure, Didier Drogba and others…

With Yaya Toure having been named BBC’s African player of the year-2013, and having won CAF’s player of the year in 2012, it is more likely he will take home the award this year too.
