The #BringBackOurGirls social media campaign have died out but still a huge number of the missing Chibok girls remain in the hands of Nigerian terrorist group-Boko Haram–and the group has today released a new video, which showa the missing “Chibok Girls.”
In the video, the third since the girls went missing, some 50 girls are seen wearing headscarves behind a Boko Haram militant who places demands for the release of Boko Haram fighters in return for the girls.
The video also shows a militant interving one of the girls, who calls herself Maida Yakubu and says she is from Chibok.
The girl is asked by her interviewer to urge the government to release imprisoned Boko Haram militants.

The Islamist group on Friday ambushed some civilians who were reported to be on their way to a market near Lake Chad. Out of the people who were ensnared, seven have been killed, officials have declared today.

According to Dimouya Souapede, deputy prefect of Baga Sola, some of the victims were beheaded while others were shot. “Improvised mines were later discovered along the road between Tchoukou Telia and Ngouboua close to the Nigerian border which Boko Haram raided in recent weeks”, AFP reports.

Suspected Boko Haram Blast Kills 48 Students & Injures Many Others | Persident Jonathan Releases Statement

A bomb blast occurred at a Nigerian Secondary School earlier today which killed 48 students and injured scores of others.

The culprit has been identified by authorities as a suicide bomber who wore the school’s uniform allowing him to blend in and carry out his nefarious purpose.

The incident occurred at the Government Science Secondary School in Potiskum, Yobe State: and the students were gathered at morning assembly waiting for a routine address from the principal when the blast went off.

Several died instantly, whilst many more were carried away by emergency services, most of whom had limbs torn off. The death toll has been pegged at 48, whilst about 79 more are injured.

The students are believed to range between ages 11 and 20, with around 2,000 being the number of those who were gathered at the ill-fated assembly.

Speaking to MPs last night, Gordon Brown said the failure to rescue the girls, who were kidnapped by the terrorist group Boko Haram two months ago, demanded an ‘international and domestic response’.
