C-Zar occupies a unique place in the history of Ghanaian hiplife. Despite being widely mocked for being a ‘wack’ rapper, he managed to release two very successful hit songs, which is more than most artists would have in their entire career.
C-Zar has since retired from music because it doesn’t pay and has instead ventured into entrepreneurship. He has also recently walked down the aisle with his longtime girlfriend.
Former hiplife star C-zar has revealed that he ran away from the music scene to venture into entrepreneurship because he did not want to die as a poor man.
According to the ‘Mercy Lokko’ hitmaker, music in Ghana only brings fame and attention and not wealth and he was not willing to settle for just being famous whilst remaining a poor man.

The ‘Mercy Lokko’ hitmaker, who is rightly regarded as arguably the worst rapper in the country, said Ghanaian music has lost its uniqueness and thus is failing to break onto the international stage.
Once upon a time the greatest rapper in Ghana, C-Zar plans to put his considerable talent to preaching the gospel of God next.
In a recent Facebook post, the rapper said what he plans to do now is preach the word of God, to attempt to influence his followers to get them onto the right path.
