It’s not only the State presidents who are power drunk in Africa—whoever is in charge of a money making machine down here on the continent seems to want to stay in charge of operation forever.
And this is exactly what we think the current CAF president-Issa Hayatou has succeeded in doing, which will enable him to stay in power till he dies.
What at all has our leaders become? The previous CAF rule made it impossible for any official past 70 years to stay in office and with the current president-Issa Hayatou having turned 68 (near to the limit), the association has abolished that rule.
