Founding Editor of GhanaCelebrities.Com, Chris-Vincent Agyapong Febiri is getting married to his adorable fiancée–Elsie Anthony-Williams–and we are super excited.

The party is about to get started: they have today launched their official wedding website, VincentAndElsie.Com–to count down to the three days event which starts on Friday, 24th March to Sunday, 26th March 2017.

Of course, if you do not have an invitation, you shouldn’t turn up. However, you can wish the couple well on their website, go through their together photos, read their story and you can send them a cash gift too on there, via online.

Ghanaian comedian-Funny Face and Kwame A-Plus are listed as hosts of the couple’s Cocktail party–ahead of an invite-only dinner at the Golden Tulip Hotel.

The couple on their website had this to say:

“The true beauty of this is not the ceremony or the idealist conception that marriage is the ultimate but in the fact that despite the immensity of the cosmos, I still found Elsie, who puts up with my imperfections.” –Vincent Agyapong Febiri, Writer.

On 25th March 2017 at Tema in Ghana, we will be getting married–so that we can disappear thereafter, to explore the world without anyone worrying us about our whereabout.

Marriage may seem the ultimate to many people but to us, it’s the beginning of a wonderful journey together–the licence to be stupid, make countless mistakes and to be in each other’s arms all the time.

Both of us love to travel: and we want to spend the rest of our lives seeing the world, experiencing new cultures, challenging and shaping our ideas–from Argentina to Zimbabwe.

We are just not lovers, we are friends, gossip partners and above all, it’s in our distinctive personalities and perceptions that we find the needed compromise and patience, that have served as the flourishing grounds for our relationship.

Mostly, we can’t even agree on which chocolate has the best taste–but that enables us to keep trying the available chocolates, in search for the best.

Our ideas are lucid and each day, we challenge each other to become better by finding the weak spots in each other’s philosophical stance–that’s the beauty of two intellectuals occupying a “cosmic space” of love.

We do not compete, we complement.

Of course, we yell at each other once in a while–but not at the same time. We understand our strength and attraction dwell in our differences. After all, it will be extremely boring to spend the rest of your life with a “mimeograph” of yourself.

We are both Game of Thrones fanatics, rooting for the Starks–and over the Christmas holidays in the United Kingdom, we spent 48 hours in bed, binging on Orange is the New Black, our new found TV love.

We are the interesting couple who has exhausted all the luxurious Honeymoon destinations in Ghana, where we are getting married–so we wouldn’t even have a traditional honeymoon.
