DKB 'Rapes' ECG Over Prepaid Credit Crisis Hitting Accra (Video)

An angry Derrick Kobina Bonney (DKB), completely tore into the Electricity Company of Ghana (ECG) in a video uploaded to social media complaining about the issue of lack of prepaid electricity.
Whilst ECG has successfully migrated several customers from the post paid system onto prepaid, they have now created a new crisis as in recent days their network has been down and people cannot buy credits to keep their electricity on.

US Embassy Reveals It’s Not Been Billed By ECG For Two Years – ECG Says US Embassy Doesn’t Owe Them Any Money

After the Energy Minister, Boakye Agyarko, revealed at a public forum that the Electricity Company of Ghana’s balance sheet is bad because they have not been collecting its debts from entities such as the US Embassy to Ghana and MTN, the Embassy responded that it has never received any bill from ECG within the past two years.

In a series of tweets Wednesday, the Embassy said despite repeated enquiries, they have not been receiving bills from ECG.

A pissed off ECG Customer has written a letter to the company’s top brass to complain after officials attempted to extort him before carrying out some repair works on his meter.

Kwame Owusu-Ansah of Abeka Lapaz posted his letter of frustration addressed to the branch manager of ECG at Achimota-St Johns.
