Elikem the Tailor has debuted a new line of clothing inspired by the ace investigative journalist, Anas Aremeyaw Anas. Anas is back in the news following the premiering of Kennedy Agyapong’s so-called exposé ‘Who Watches the Watchman’.
Elikem When celebrity blogger, Ameyaw Debrah got married to his longtime sweetheart and mother of their son about two months ago, Elikem Kumordzi was amongst the many good wishers that wished the man well. In his post, it appeared as if he was still very much married to Pokello, his ex-wife (per his post subsequently, we believe they are no more) and he was swift to pass a tip and good counsel to the newlywed.
Months ago, we wrote that Elikem’s ex-wife or whatever title deem her fit looks like she has aged 100 years moreover a short period of time when she walked the red carpet of the 2017 infamous VGMA. Marriage probably was not treating her very well. From the look of things, Pokello has aged 100 years less since we last saw her. Divorces have its own good side after all.
They say the first fool is not a fool, but after that if you keep repeating the same mistake then you’re really a fool. Elikem Kumordzie, Ghana’s favourite celebrity tailor, doesn’t want to be known as a fool.

The last time we heard from Pokello Nare, wife (we don’t even know if that title is still valid and maintained) was about two months ago when news broke that her marriage with Elikem has finally come to an end, which was not surprising anyway. Both refuted the claims vehemently as expected of these celebrities. They are always no fire in paradise until they have burnt to ashes before they finally come out to say what we have long known.

Elikem and Pokello took their 3-month-old daughter to the beach on Friday. The couple are currently on a family holiday in Dubai with their newborn daughter, who was born December last year. Pokello’s 12-year-old son, Nathan also joined the family on the holiday. Polikem tied the knot June last year after three years of dating. The duo first met at the Big Brother Africa Season 8 reality show.

I wouldn’t want to call this a bad investment—because, there is no investment motive here.
A man can spend as much as he wants on whatever woman he chooses—even if the woman is African’s version of Kim Kardashian with her n*ked videos all over the internet. But if this same man has a struggling small business which he runs from a house any strong winds will pull down, then that man needs mental evaluation.
I am not going say Elikem and Pokello are not married—they claim they are married so let’s grant them that. I just want to consider the sort of investment young Ghanaians do these days using this 25000 dollars Elikem claims to have paid to Pokello’s parents as his Bride Price.
On the lighter side, if you care to know, USD 1 equal 35,000,000,000,000,000 Zimbabwean dollars—and Elikem claims he paid USD25000, which means all the banks in Zimbabwe cannot even convert this amount into Zimbabwean dollars…
Anyway, where Elikem lives in Accra and runs his business from needs this 25000 dollars more than anything—a young man must care about his future. This is why it’s difficult for some people to believe he even paid that much—because, who can sleep comfortably at night in a house which may collapse on him anytime his luck runs out and also run his not booming tailor business on no capital from this same house, but will have 25000 dollars to pay to the already rich fathers of an African p*rn star Kim Kardashian?.
Considering the characters involved, it’s more likely that this is one of their many ways via which they go after attention—so we are not buying into the developing story that somewhere in Zimbabwe, Elikem and Pokello have gotten married.
The below photos of Elikem and Pokello with the family of Pokello which would pass for an annual family thanksgiving service at church or something like that have gotten people talking—with some of the blogs saying the two are married.
These two are attention wh*res and if they really got married, we bet they would have made more noise about it than just post some ‘lousy’ photos out there on facebook and allow people to just speculate.
