The much touted and talked about “Reign Album” launch and concert by dancehall musician Charles Nii Armah Mensah Jnr aka Shatta Wale happened on Saturday 13/10/2018 inside the Fantasy Dome in Accra. The show was generally a success as loyal fans of Shatta Wale filled the auditorium to the brim, we congratulate Wale for that.

Few hours prior to the show Shatta Wale shared a video on his social media pages. In the video, the greatest Ghanaian musician of all time Charles Kwadwo Fosu aka Daddy Lumba was seen endorsing “The Reign Album” and entreating people to be at the Fantasy Dome because he will be there live and together with Wale they have a surprise for the fans.

The last 48 hours, his album and himself have generated a lot of controversies as his best musical pal Sarkodie mercilessly dissed him in a song titled “Advice”. It looks like Wale has fought with everyone in the entertainment industry most especially his colleague musicians so many of them did not help him to promote the album and will certainly not perform with him at the concert. Tomorrow, October 13, 2018, is the launch of the over-hyped “Reign” album by Shatta Wale ─even though he has been ‘murdered’ by Sarkodie in his viral freestyle “My Advice” but that isn’t going to stop the album launch.

Last month Charles Nii Armah Mensah Jnr aka Shatta Wale was on a radio tour in Accra and Kumasi, massively promoting and creating awareness and buzz about his upcoming second studio album after his musical hiatus of about 10years. The album is titled “The Reign” and it is set to be officially launched and outdoored on 13/10/2018 at Fantasy Dome, Accra.

Throughout his “Reign” Album radio tour both in Kumasi and Accra, Wale took every opportunity available to him to discredit almost every single musician in Ghana from Samini, Stonebwoy, Kwaw Kesse and the strangest of all Sarkodie. Sarkodie’s own I describe as strange because everybody in the industry knows Sarkodie and Wale to be the best of friends so we did not know why he continues to attack him from one radio to the other that he is poor, his career is dead, he supports Nigerian artists more than Ghanaian artists etc
