George Boateng, the man who attempted to challenge President Mahama for the NDC Presidential candidates slot and got crushed has been arrested by operatives of national security.
The comical challenger, who had a lot of radical ideas if he won, was arrested on Sunday night by National security operatives and handed over to the police.
At 1700 GMT today the NDC closed nominations for picking of forms for the Presidential and parliamentary primaries and the five minutes of fame of a certain George Boateng came to an end.
George Boateng is the man who seemingly of his own volition decided to contest President Mahama in the NDC primaries, but in the process he brought some much needed levity to a process that could explode in the months to come.
