The world football governing body Fifa has extended the 90 day ban handed to former GFA President Kwesi Nyantakyi from all football activities by another 45 days.
Fifa handed the initial three month ban to Nyantakyi following the bombshell Anas ‘Number 12’ report which showed him accepting a ton of cash from investigators and entering into illegal deals.
The Federation of International Football Associations (FIFA) has announced the appointment of a normalization committee to run the Ghana Football Association until a new body of officers are elected.
Fifa’s announcement comes after the government held up their end of the agreement struck in the meeting held earlier this month between a Fifa delegation led by its President Gianni Infantino and a GOG delegation led by Sports Minister Isaac Asiamah.

The dissolution of the FA by government was thought to surely attract a Fifa ban for Ghana but talks between the two parties seemed to have ended on a positive note and could lead to Ghana escaping a ban.
