Actress Lydia Forson has called for those involved in the lynching and killing of a police officer to be arrested and made to pay for their crime.
Commenting on the hot button issue of the moment, Forson said justice must be served up for Capt Mahama, who due to the mob injustice, has left behind a family of a wife and two children.
The Military High Command has unequivocally denied reports that it assigned some soldiers to provide protection to the President’s brother Ibrahim Mahama, instead placing the blame squarely on the soldiers of Ibrahim and the officers involved.
A statement signed by Colonel Aggrey-Quashie, Director Public Affairs for the Forces, said that the Military High Command condemns the actions of the soldiers involved, clarifying that they did not assign anyone to specifically protect Ibrahim Mahama.
