In Ghana, it’s not easy to go against the conventional wisdom in town. The weight of condemnation that would be rained on your neck takes a very strong personality to withstand that and stick to your guns.
Rex Omar recently said that he believes that Ghana would eventually legalize homos£xuality. He also said that gays must be protected as they are also human beings.
As a Ghanaian, you can screech or even cry blood and make all the noise but homos*xuality would be legalized in Ghana some few years to come according to veteran musician, Rex Omar.
Rex Omar is of the view that Ghana as a country will have no option than to make laws to back homos*xuality in the coming years as peoples orientation on the subject will change.
The fight against or for homos*xuality to be legalized in Ghana is still on, even though the chances of its legalization is slim but as the president of the Republic, Nana Akufo-Addo said in his interview on Al Jazeera, “it is bound to happen”.

There are many arguments Ghanaians love to make when certain ‘contentious’ issue comes up, like homos*xuality or evolution, arguments which knowledgeable people know are wrong but because Ghanaians are Ghanaians, we still haven’t discovered they are wrong or even if we have, we completely disregard them.
