The NPP flagbearer Nana Addo Dankwa Akuffo-Addo has expressed gratitude to five Presidential candidates who have all congratulated him on winning the 2016 elections even though final official results are not yet in.
Tallying of the results so far seem to indicate a lead for Nana Addo, but with the EC delaying in declaring results it’s difficult to categorically declare anyone the victor.

Flagbearer of the Convention People’s Party and the only person with disability (PWD) running for the top office, Ivor Greenstreet, has promised strong initiatives from his government concerning that segment of the population if he’s elected.
Speaking in the Eastern Region at a conference for PWD’s, Mr Greenstreet promised implementation of policy that addresses their needs, including the Disability Act and the relevant clauses in the UN Convention for the Rights of Persons with Disability.
