Ivor Greenstreet, Presidential candidate of the Convention Peoples Party in the 2016 general elections says he would not say no if asked to serve under the Akufo-Addo’s government.
According to him, in times like that you just have to put the pride away and the nation first.
Ivor Kobina Greenstreet, CPP’s presidential candidate in the just ended December polls has in an interview with Ghana Web thrown lights on the reason behind the party’s lost in the 7th December polls.
According to him, the filing fee the EC charged was way too much and it adversely affected the party since enough was not left for campaigns and other paramount stuff.
The presidential candidate for the Convention People’s Party, Ivor Greenstreet has added his voice to the many who with no iota of doubt realised Ghanaians really needed change.
Speaking on Citi FM Friday, Mr Greenstreet said:
The NPP flagbearer Nana Addo Dankwa Akuffo-Addo has expressed gratitude to five Presidential candidates who have all congratulated him on winning the 2016 elections even though final official results are not yet in.
Tallying of the results so far seem to indicate a lead for Nana Addo, but with the EC delaying in declaring results it’s difficult to categorically declare anyone the victor.
The Convention People’s Party launched their election 2016 manifesto over the weekend at the Ghana Academy of Arts and Science in Accra.

Flagbearer of the Convention People’s Party and the only person with disability (PWD) running for the top office, Ivor Greenstreet, has promised strong initiatives from his government concerning that segment of the population if he’s elected.
Speaking in the Eastern Region at a conference for PWD’s, Mr Greenstreet promised implementation of policy that addresses their needs, including the Disability Act and the relevant clauses in the UN Convention for the Rights of Persons with Disability.
