A few days ago, the Ghanaian social media landscape was full of conversations in relation to the NPP’s government’s plan to build a national cathedral–attracting comments such as Ghana has more pressing needs which the government should focus on instead of a cathedral.

Earlier today, President Akufo Addo inaugurated a board of trustees to oversee the cathedral project, with Pastor Mensa Otabil, a preacher who on the face of it seems to ask Ghanaians to always make the right choice–happily on the board.
