The Asantehene, Otumfuo Osei Tutu II, has paid a courtesy call on the President of the Land, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, at the Jubilee House today.
The Asantehene lead a delegation of chiefs to pay a call on Nana Addo, the first by the leader of the Ashanti Kingdom since the President came into office at the beginning of 2017.

Nana Addo Commissioning The Presidential Museum

Ghana marks 60 years of being independent and adding to the celebrations, His Excellency Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo has declared the Osu Coastal facility built by the Danes in 1661 which previously housed Ghana’s Presidency to be a National Presidential Museum.

During the commissioning of the Osu Castle now a Museum, Nana Addo said the venue will have a “state-of-the-art museum that will house presidential artifacts, presidential papers, wax works of our president, and also have on display personal possessions like books, artwork and items of clothing to allow us to honour appropriately their memories.”
