‘Controversial’ and loud mouthed politician Kofi Wayo has minced no words in laying out the conditions under which he thinks he can become President in this country.

According to the founder of the United Ressaicance Party (URP), he can only become President once Ghanaians wise up and start voting for politicians who actually have their best interests at heart.

Maverick Gh politician Kofi Wayo has spoken out on the death of the late Major Maxwell Mahama, describing it as the ‘wrong way’ to die.

Wayo, who is one of the dignitaries attending Mahama’s state funeral, spoke to the issue of the major’s death and said government needs to beef up the military and security agencies in general going forward.

After a one week break to accommodate the Ghana Journalists Association Awards Night, your no.1 contemporary comedy show ‘Guy Guy’ returns this weekend with its most explosive episode yet.

I have honestly had a blast since I started reviewing ‘Guy Guy’. It’s funny without being too silly, star studded which I always like to mention; but mostly I just like it because it is a Ghanaian production I can watch without throwing up and which makes for a nice thirty minute break from a hectic time in the office.

The debate over the soon to be implemented TV license fee brings into sharp relief one of the biggest problems with broadcasting in Ghana which we often sweep under the carpet– the largely dross programming Ghanaians have to deal with.

The argument largely, which I agree with, is that shoveling the money of Ghanaians into the hands of these people gives us no guarantee of improved programming.

Luckily, there is a programme on the horizon that would, in the short term at least, brightly improve the landscape on GTV, who we can all agree does not have the brightest of landscapes. ‘Guy Guy’ is the new star studded, hilarious, and pseudo real world show on the horizon that is guaranteed to brighten your day.

Kofi Wayo Says ‘Ghana Has Collapsed Long Time Ago’

The leader and chairman of the United Renaissance Party (URP), Eric Charles Kofi Wayo, popularly known as Kofi Wayo, has declared that Ghana as a country has collapsed long time ago.

He made this assertion in connection with the economic situation of the country when he spoke on Accra based Okay Fm this evening. He suggested the President meet with critical thinkers like Scientists, Engineers, Businessmen, etc. and seek their ideas to help him govern the country to enable him deal with the economic crisis rather than paying attention to pastors in the country.

Kofi Wayo was speaking in relation to news that broke out recently about Archbishop Duncan Williams spiritually commanding the official currency (Cedi) of the country to rise.
