Ghanaian rapper and radio presenter who also doubles as the leader or headline act for the ‘Asuoden Movement’, Pope Skinny was one time the darling boy of the ‘Shatta Movement’ boss Charles Nii Armah Mensah Jnr aka Shatta Wale.
The ‘Asuoden god’ and Shatta Wale were almost like Siamese twins ─simply put, they were inseparable. These two guys were seen almost everywhere together. They featured themselves on chart-topping tracks that got almost everybody in this country on their dancing feet.
The much-hyped and talk about concert of the year dubbed the Ashaiman To The World Concert (ATTWC) which was organized under the tutelage of Zylofon Media and Burnotion Music Group happened live yesterday at the” Ashaiman Sakasaka Park”. The show was generally a success as nothing bad happened this year, unlike last year when Stonebwoy’s wife was nearly stabbed.
More than 30,000 people from all walks of life and all the corridors of Ghana moved from their homes to the event grounds to witness powerful and magical performances from all artists who were billed to perform at the show. The event was headlined by BET Award winner Stonebwoy, MOBO Award winner Samini, Strongman, Kojo Nkansah Lilwin, Okomfuo Kwaadee, Kelvynboy, Freda Rhymz, Kwaw Kesse etc.
