Majid Michel: A 21st Century Ghanaian Actor Who Thinks Homosexuals Are Abomination & Hears the Holy Spirit Talk to Him All the Time

Majid Michel
Majid Michel

Pardon me, I can’t find any right phrase for actor-Majid Michel’s grand delusion—but for a 21st century actor who claims to be one of the best in Africa to say homosexuals are abomination and his sole source of reference is the Bible, a bronze age badly written life manuscript, then surely we have a lot on our hands to deal with as people.

Do not underestimate the power of a group of credulous people but if you have those who ought to know better joining the camp—then once again, it surely is going to be a long battle, made so by the fact that these people genuinely believe in the Bible and sure do think everything in there is sent from a celestial father.

In one of the videos below, Majid Michel clearly states that he sees homosexuals as abomination and cannot fathom how any Christian who believes in the Bible could tolerate homosexuals or be one. And this is positioned on the fact that he believes in everything in the Bible, perhaps not just believe everything but thinks they all ought to be acted upon.

The Bible says a lot about homosexuals, such as; homosexuals are abomination and they deserve to be killed (Leviticus 20:13). As someone who believes everything in the Bible, I sincerely hope Majid Michel also believes homosexuals ought to be put to death—else he is a chicken.

It does not end there, the Bible also demands that these people should be put to death; Witches (Exodus 22:17), Fornicators (Leviticus 21:9 ), Fortunetellers (Leviticus 20:27), Adulterous men and women (Leviticus 20:10), any person who hits his mother or father (Exodus 21:15), Followers of Other Religions  (Exodus 22:19), Nonbelievers (2 Chronicles 15:12-13), False Prophets (Zechariah 13:3), Kill the Entire Town if One Person Worships Another God (Deuteronomy 13:13-19), Kill Women Who Are Not Virgins On Their Wedding Night (Deuteronomy  22:20-21)—and there is certainly more.

What Happened to Van Vicker, Nadia Buari, Majid Michel, Martha Ankomah & the Many Ghanaian Actors? | No JOBS for Our Stars?

Nadia Buari And Majid Michel
Nadia Buari And Majid Michel

Dear Chris,

I want you to publish this for me under your readers’ mail column with the hope I will get some decent answer to my question and worry.

About 3 years ago, we used to see several good movies (African standard) from Ghana and our stars; Nadia Buari, Prince David Osei, Majid Michel, John Dumelo, Martha Ankomah, Jackie Appiah and the others were constantly at work.

We saw the finished products of their work but today, we hardly see any movies coming out of Ghana and I am wondering what happened to them?

Is it that the Ghanaian English movie industry is completely dead or our actors have suddenly retired to work for twitter and face for free?

I follow most of the above actors on social media and I they engage in a lot of social media activities but offline, I don’t see any of their movies—not much as we used to see before.

I just want to know what happened. If the industry is gone down the drain to the extent that these stars are not getting work, then this is bad. Something must be done about it. Can’t they branch into Kumawood since they seem to be doing a lot of movies, as always.

It looks like our celebrities got so hungry to the extent that, they decided to buy the whole food being sold by the road side—and stood there to each it all. I am not sure how many of the eggs Majid Michel had—but I feel sorry for the wife, for what she probably went through that night…

The men can be so cool and supportive of each other but when it comes to the women, it is either one is bitchin’ to her colleague’s ‘sugar daddy’ to snatch him away or throwing unnecessary insults at each other.

A Ghanaian Based in the USA Claims Majid Michel Says He is Divorced & He is Chopping Down Her Sister + He Has Asked the Sister for $10,000 to Produce His Own Movie Because…

Majid-Michel1
Majid Michel

Personally, I don’t know the truth behind these claims made by a certain woman who wrote to GhanaCelebrities.Com to find out if indeed Majid Michel is a divorcee, saying that, she wanted to know because Majid Michel has been talking dirty with her sister. In fact, she claims her sister and Majid Michel are in a relationship—chopping things down.

According to the USA based Ghanaian, the sister somehow seems to believe Majid Michel what Majid told her (that it is over with him and his wife) and therefore she wanted to find out if indeed Majid Michel is divorced as he claims.

GhanaCelebrities.Com got back in contact with woman with the below words…

Hello Christy,

From what I reliably know, Majid Michel is still married to his wife and they do not have any problems. I will be interested in this relationship he is looking for from your sister…

Any more info on it?

And then, she replied us by saying;

“Well, he finally admitted to her that he’s still married, but is in the process of ending his marriage…whatever that means.  I think he’s telling her lies, but she’s ignoring them because she likes the idea of communicating with him.

I would say more, but she doesn’t want to be put on blast. I told her that you were a no non-sense, zero tolerance type of guy.  Maybe I’ll be able to give you more information, in the future.

Majid told my sister that because of the comment he made about there being no movie industry in Ghana, he has been banned from acting or releasing his movies in Ghana. He said that he has to pay thousands of US dollars in fines, in order to release his movies.”

Whether the woman’s claims are true or false, I want us to look at something beyond Majid Michel and her alleged off marriage relationship with this woman’s sister. We’ve had and heard of instances when certain male Ghanaian celebrities are said to have cash in from women (duped them), under the pretense of being in a love relationship with these women. And mostly, these women are based abroad…

Enough of The Love And Comic Movies!

Yvonne Nelson and John Dumelo

Ghallywood/Ghollywood and Kumawood are the two main movie industries in Ghana at the moment. One cannot disprove the fact that producers within these two industries are doing well. In the course of time, some experienced producers churn out movies that are well structured and interesting to watch.  At other times, some of these movies are just as bad as garbage.

There seems to be a clear-cut distinction between these two movie industries. While Ghollywood pays much attention to love, Kumawood on the other hand focuses mainly on comedy. It becomes mundane when a particular approach is used over and over again without employing new techniques.

Ghollywood is Synonymous With ‘Love’

A critical observation of Ghollywood movies will draw ones attention to nothing but love. Over countless movies that I have watched from this industry all focus on love, or better still romance. Romantic movies often place emphasis on passion, emotion, and the affection two lovers (mainly the main characters) display to each other. Just like in our everyday love life that one goes through dating, courtship, and marries in the end, so it is with love movies.

Take time and watch most Ghollywood movies for yourself. Almost, if not all, fall into the category of romance. The ever one-way of telling such stories in movies is increasing rapidly. If a person does not fight another person because the first has snatched the lover, then it’s probably going to be a family opposing the marriage of two lovers. Without doubt, Ghollywood film-makers have proven to be love experts. Take them to that field, and they will surely beat you to that.

Kumawood and Its Obsession for Comedy

Let’s direct our attention to the ‘almighty’ Kumawood. How can you possibly watch a Kumawood movie and not laugh? The titles of the movies themselves can make you laugh your heart out. One movie title in itself is a complete sentence, if not a paragraph.

Pioneers of the Akan-speaking movies like Agya Koo are people who started their careers as comedians. The act of creating humour was however utilized in their movies. This course has repetitively gone up till this day. With the introduction of some acts like Kwaku Manu and Lil Win, production of comic movies has increased tremendously.

Becca joined the many Ghanaian celebrities who pose for photos in  aeroplanes and she was not even flying in any of the expensive cabins. Soon, airlines should start charging African celebrities for such photos—-we think!
