President of the Republic Of Ghana, His Excellency Nana Addo Dankwah Akufo-Addo has expressed sadness over the death of Ghanaian former United Nations Secretary-General, Mr Kofi Annan.
Mr Annan was reported dead in Berne, Switzerland on Saturday, August 18, 2018, after a short illness.

H.E Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo has left the shores of Ghana for an official duty to represent Ghana at the 29th Ordinary Session of the Assembly of the African Union, which will happen in Ethiopia.
The President was accompanied by the First Lady, Mrs. Rebecca Akufo-Addo, Hon. Shirley Ayorkor Botchway, and other officials at the Presidency.

Girl Talk today surprised the first lady of the Republic of Ghana, Mrs Rebecca Akufo Addo at the President’s residence in Nima, Accra. The surprise took place during a special birthday party to celebrate the first lady on the occasion of her 66th birthday.

The party had the first gentleman on the land, H.E. Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo Addo, together with some top officials of his government all in attendance. The president came around during the presentation by the Girl Talk team led by award-winning actress Nana Ama McBrown to show appreciation to Girl Talk for the gesture.

The team which had Leah Brown, the reigning Miss Malaika Queen, Larley Lartey and Naa Angerley both from Palm Media organiser of Girl Talk, presented her with a special cake from Oriental Ghana and boxes of Vitamilk from our Girl Talk Birthday hangout sponsor.
