One of the main trending stories of today has been the brouhaha stoked by Citi Fm journalist and card-carrying feminist Nana Ama Asante, who called John Dumelo a gross predator for a simple visit to UG on Valentine’s Day.
Dumelo had paid a visit to the rooms of some ladies and spent some time with them, but Asante had described the visit as ‘predatory and gross’.
Citi FM’s Journalist, Nana Ama Agyemang Asante, in response to a tweet directed at her, said, “you people are so disappointing. Eww. Imagine taking offense and resorting to ableism, insulting actual humans suffering and living with depression because you’re incapable of engaging with ideas. Eww.”
Her response was actually to someone who called her depressed over her comment on John Dumelo’s Val’s Day gesture. That was how many people on Twitter reacted to her comment: they bypassed it, just as she pointed out in the above response.
Actor John Dumelo has found himself in the crosshairs of the Pepper Dem Ministries after he paid a surprise visit to some female students of the University of Ghana on Vals Day to spend some time with them.
Dumelo shared a video on social media of his visit to several UG ladies who he met in their rooms and gave them a Vals Day hug.
