Yesterday was a glorious day in the life of Ghana’s longest-serving first lady Nana Konadu Agyemang Rawlings the wife of the longest-serving president of the Republic of Ghana, Jerry John Rawlings.
Nana Konadu Agyemang Rawlings the founder and leader of the National Democratic Party (NDP) was 70 years old yesterday and a birthday party was organized in her honour.
The Electoral Commission has been dealt another blow in their never ending legal battles to keep disqualified aspirants from the elections after a High Court judge refused a motion set infront of him by the Commission to recuse himself from the case involving the EC and the NDP.
Justice Eric Kyei Baffour oversaw the case involving the EC and the PPP which was won by the latter, leading to flagbearer Dr Ndoum’s reinstatement into the process after his earlier disqualification.
