Pressure Group OccupyGhana has warned the government of Ghana to put a stop to the recently revealed practice of refusing to register local names which they claim are titles.
According to the group, there is no basis in law for the decision and therefore the Registry should put a stop to it or face a lawsuit within 30 days.

Pressure Group Occupy Ghana has called for the tv licence fee to be scrapped, describing it as an obsolete law and its application illegal and unconstitutional.
In a statement addressing the hot button issue of the day, the group says government should be looking at ways to move the country forward and not going back to apply an old law whose framers could not have imaged the digitalized world we live in now.
