Obinim is always claiming absurd powers for himself, the ability to fly, to steal money in dreams and to heal all ailments. If he’s not constantly high then he’s probably an undiagnosed schizophrenic.
Former hiplife star turned man of God, Papa Shee claims that his d*ck has not seen any action for the past five years, ever since his wife left him due to his decision to become a man of God.
Papa Shee says since then he has become an involuntarily celibate man, a modern-day version of Jesus Christ who allegedly never got any action whilst on earth as well.
A man’s gotta eat right? After failing to make it as a musician, Papa Shee has decided to become a pastor and in recent days, has been doing everything he can to gather some attention for himself and his ‘business’.
I know Ghanaians love religion but don’t be deceived, most pastors of today are businessmen, and that is borne out by how rich most of them are in comparison to the average Ghanaian holding an average, 9 to 5 job.
In my book all prophets are fake, only utilizing psychology to prey on the weak minded and get them to believe in their ‘powers’, much like any conman you come across.
Yet for the many in our midst who find it difficult to spot a conman due to the fact that they’ve been indoctrinated from birth to give credence to the words of any charlatan who masks himself as a ‘man of God’, at least we can all agree that those who are eager to use the deaths of others to advance their own fame are fake as hell.
There is this thing about religion, most of them anyway- an allure that attracts so many people and makes it remain a powerful world force that is not going away anytime soon.
It gives you the illusion of being saved, yes- comforting you that someone is watching out for you, and that no matter how many times you sin, it would be okay as long as you get on your knees and ask for forgiveness.
