It’s 21st century Ghana–a civilised democratic country and yet gays and lesbians continue to be “lynched.”
Apart from the hovering societal disdain of homosexuals which in itself is enough to wreck the emotions and life of any gay or lesbian in Ghana, people believe they have a celestial right to beat or abuse homosexuals.
And that’s what the above poster clearly depicts—said to have been found somewhere in Teshie-Accra.
Clearly, the poster threatens homosexuals, that they would be lynched if spotted and considering that there are laws on Ghana’s statute books which makes it a crime to engage in homosexual acts, these people do not only have societal backing but have some false sense of legal mandate too.
