The Bureau of National Investigations has arrested a man who apparently ‘threatened’ that the President would fall down during this year’s Independence Day parade.
The man was arrested by police at a drinking bar in Dzorwulu where he passed the comments, and later handed him over to the National security.

The president of Ghana-John Dramani Mahama has finally spoken about investigative journalist-Anas Aremeyaw Anas’ recent video which exposes certain judges, police officers and judicial officers as corrupt—for taking different forms of bribes meant to influence the wheel of justice.

Anas’ revelation has caused nationwide panic with several of the indicted judges and officers worried—now that that a committee has been set up to thoroughly look into the findings of the ace journalist.

The ordinary citizens are worried too—especially, being aware of how cheaply those in charge of justice sell it for and the total disregard for the rule of the law.

The president took to his facebook to post a re-assuring message, saying;

“I always supported, and will always support the rule of law and our justice system. What we uncovered these days is that some people, judges, judicial officers and policemen, seemed to be willing to transgress the principles of a fair justice, to their own interest.

Interior Ministry Assures Tight Security At President Mahama’s Church

The Interior Ministry of Ghana has stated that there will be more tight security at the Ringway Assemblies of God Church where President Mahama and his family as well as the Chief Justice worship.

The move comes off after the capture in the congregation a 36-year-old man, Charles Antwi, who was in control of a firearm two weeks back.

Ghana’s president-John Dramani Mahama and his wife-Lordina are currently on an official visit to the United Kingdom—and as part of their trip, they visited the Buckingham Palace for a private meeting with Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II.

We are told “President Mahama and the Queen discussed a number of issues of common interest to the two countries”. At the meeting, the  Queen is reported to have expressed “interested in the First Lady’s health-related activities and humanitarian support”.

Also, President Mahama presented the Queen with a copy of his first book, My First Coup D’etat And Other True Stories from the Lost Decades of Africa.
