The Progressive People’s Party (PPP), the only plausible political alternative to the New Patriotic Party (NPP) and the National Democratic Congress (NDC) in Ghana has on Saturday, June 2, 2018 launched its UK’s Midland’s branch at an event attended by the party’s founder, Dr Papa Kwesi Nduom.

At the launch, Dr Papa Kwesi Nduom affirmed the new Midland’s executives and assured the party’s branch of his support—while calling on them to change the narrative by educating their people in Ghana on the urgent need to consider the PPP for not just what it has long stood for but what it would do for Ghanaians if voted into power.

The Electoral Commission has been dealt another blow in their never ending legal battles to keep disqualified aspirants from the elections after a High Court judge refused a motion set infront of him by the Commission to recuse himself from the case involving the EC and the NDP.
Justice Eric Kyei Baffour oversaw the case involving the EC and the PPP which was won by the latter, leading to flagbearer Dr Ndoum’s reinstatement into the process after his earlier disqualification.
