Once upon a time highlife music was king in Ghana, in fact for a long time it was the only game in town and Ghana produced some of the best highlife singers ever.
As time went on more and more genres were either invented or imported, with hiplife and reggae/dancehall being the two most prominent ones.
Ghanaian rapper, Denning Edem Hotor known in Showbiz as Edem has bragged that no Ghanaian rapper can rub shoulders with him when it comes to music and talent.
