The US’ Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) has not only banned the use of Samsung’s Galaxy Note 7 handset on flights, but has also made it a federal crime to be caught doing so, punishable by some harsh sentences.
The Galaxy Note 7 has really caught a lot of grief for Samsung after it was discovered to burst into flames when overheated. It has led to numerous airlines and aviation authorities simply banning its use on flights.
