President of the Musicians Union of Ghana (MUSIGA), Mr Bice Osei Kuffour, better known as Obour is again being lambasted by disappointed Ghanaians for his bad leadership skills as the head of musicians in Ghana.
Obour has been entertaining Shatta Wale and Stonebwoy’s beef, beef that almost resulted in bloodshed under his shelf for years and he couldn’t do anything about it.
The Chief Executive Officer, Mrs Theresa Ayoade from all indication looks very disappointed in what Stonebwoy and Shatta Wale did at the VGMA auditorium.
After banning them, she has stated in an interview that they will leave to regret their misbehaviour that led to the destruction of a show that was being aired live on Television.
Head of Communications for Charterhouse (the organizers of VGMA), George Quaye has said the bans that have been placed on Ghana’s two dancehall artistes, Shatta Wale and Stonebwoy are not permanent but rather an indefinite-meaning they can call them back at any time.
“There still an opportunity for them to come back because it’s not a lifetime ban neither is it a permanent ban, it’s indefinite meaning; there can be a time that the board will recall the ban.“
Ghana’s best female vocal performer, Efya Awindor has also added her voice on the VGMA20 battle which happened after Shatta Wale and Stonebwoy successfully turned the auditorium into a ‘war zone’.
She took to her Official Twitter page and shared some of her personal experiences at the event centre and what some of her team members also went through.
