Ghanaian journalists were more than impressed when the most anticipated movie in West Africa right now, ‘Heroes & Zeros’ was recently shown to them at a press screening last Monday in Accra, Ghana.
The movie which is powered by entertainment powerhouse, Koga Studios features one of the finest faces in Ghollywood, the amiable Nadia Buari and forces to reckon with in Nollywood; Bimbo Manuel, Olu Jacobs, Akin Lewis, Norbert Young, Tina Mba, Funsho Adeolu and a host of others, is due for release in Ghana, Friday 8th June, at an elaborate premiere and will be released to Nigerian cinemas in July.
When ‘Heroes & Zeros’ was beamed for the viewing pleasure of the Ghanaian journalists, it was well received among the members of the press; other important stakeholders in Ghollywood were also present at the event. The movie has been tagged as one of the best movies ever as it boasts of an unusual cast and storyline.
Two Ghanaian journalists, Ebenezer from GhanaCelebrities.Com and Francis of NewsOne Newspaper shared their thoughts on the movie. Ebenezer said ‘’the movie is a nice one and I think it would do well here. To be candid, it has an unusual script and a very rich content which are characteristics that are lacking in our films today, our producers don’t tell deep and enriching stories anymore, only a very few still do’’.
