Sensational pop duo Reggie and Bollie have dropped the accompanying visuals to their recent single ‘This Is The Life’.
Their first solo project since leaving Simon Cowell’s Syco, the single has been a chart success since its release and having teased the video for a while, the pair have finally released it.
Reggie and Bollie have dropped their first single ever since going Independent and it looks like it’s going to be a winner!
Titled ‘This Is The Life’, the pair premiered the single on Youtube, somewhat coincidentally (or not), on the 60th birthday of their home nation Ghana.
Simon Cowell’s Syco Record Label dropped the pair of Ghanaian stars Reggie and Bollie and not the other way round.
The pair revealed on social media Wednesday that they were breaking away from the label, noting that it feels “f*cking right” to be finally independent.
Ghanaian duo Reggie and Bollie, who recently revealed their intention to return home from the UK to shoot their debut music video in the country, have revealed that the video is aimed at selling Ghana to the world. The pair, who signed onto Simon Cowell’s Syco record label after their surprising run to the finals of X-Factor, have intimated that the label wants a story about Ghana to be the focal piece of their debut.
Simon Cowell’s home was in the early hours of last Friday hit by a burglary that shook the mogul, who nevertheless went ahead to appear at the X-Factor semi finals the next night.
Cowell, his girlfriend Lauren Silverman and their son Eric, were asleep upstairs when the robbery took place. Unfortunately, they weren’t the only one sleeping at the time. Cowell’s bodyguard and his dog were also both taking soothing naps at the time.
Simon Cowell was honoured Monday night at a Music Industry Trust event in London, for his contributions to music and the entertainment industry, as well as to charitable causes.
The Music Industry Trusts award is presented annually to a public figure by the organisation; and Cowell picked up the award for 2015.

Band boss Simon Cowell thinks the band, who are working on releasing their next album late this year, would take a break after that. Cowell feels they are at that point now where taking time off to focus on other things would work better for everyone in the long.
Simon Cowell’s mum Julie passed away on Sunday at the age of 89, leaving the veteran music executive devastated.
“Today our beloved mum Julie passed away. Anyone who had met her would know what a truly special and kind lady she was. We are heartbroken and will miss her terribly, but she is now at peace,” a statement said.
A spokesman for the family further said: “We would like to thank the media for kindly respecting Julie’s privacy throughout and we politely request continued privacy for the entire family at this particularly difficult time.”
