Kanye West has completely denied rumours that he’s in discussions to host an expected reboot of the now defunct singing show American Idol.
Numerous reports claim NBC are in talks with Ye to get him on board the expected reboot, as a sort of Simon Cowell replacement.

The pair revealed on social media Wednesday that they were breaking away from the label, noting that it feels “f*cking right” to be finally independent.

Simon Cowell was honoured Monday night at a Music Industry Trust event in London, for his contributions to music and the entertainment industry, as well as to charitable causes.
The Music Industry Trusts award is presented annually to a public figure by the organisation; and Cowell picked up the award for 2015.

Simon Cowell’s mum Julie passed away on Sunday at the age of 89, leaving the veteran music executive devastated.
“Today our beloved mum Julie passed away. Anyone who had met her would know what a truly special and kind lady she was. We are heartbroken and will miss her terribly, but she is now at peace,” a statement said.
A spokesman for the family further said: “We would like to thank the media for kindly respecting Julie’s privacy throughout and we politely request continued privacy for the entire family at this particularly difficult time.”
