One of Ghana’s finest budding rappers Strongman Burner’s 2-years contract with Sarkcess Music Record label ended a few weeks ago and to our surprise, it was not renewed.
Why their contract was not renewed remained a mystery to almost every Ghanaian even those in the music industry knew nothing about.
Usually, when someone is listing best Ghanaian rappers, the names of Lord Kenya, Sarkodie, Obrafour, Reggie Rockstone, Okyeame Kwame and Strongman Burner can never be left out.
As a matter of fact, Ghanaians are becoming so interested in rap music to the extent that comedians are even building up their rap skills.
About 9 years ago, Awal Mohammed found favour in the sight of the African biggest rapper alive, Sarkodie after he, Awal performed Sarkodie’s song word for word without making any mistakes, rapping like Sarkodie himself.
Sarkodie then went ahead to record songs with Awal so most of us were hoping to see Sarkodie sign him unto his Sarkcess Music Record label so the young rapper could continue his music career, but sadly, things didn’t go as we all expected. Sarkodie never signed him but instead, he signed Strongman born Osei Kwaku Vincent.
A few weeks ago Ghanaian creative artistes were honoured at the Gaumont Palace (Dominion Center) in the United Kingdom.
Without ending there, they have also been honoured in South Africa for their great efforts in putting smiles on the faces of their fans.

Sarkodie’s Sarkcess music has signed another budding talent to its stable with the addition of Strongman Burner.
Sarkodie himself announced the new signing via social media Friday.
