The Member of Parliament for Bolgatanga East and a former deputy Attorney General, Dominic Ayine, has sued Martin Amidu and the state attempting to halt the appointment of Amidu as Independent Special Prosecutor.
According to his suit, laid before the Supreme Court, Amidu at 66 years of age and is not eligible to serve in a public position when the retirement age is 60 years.
