T.B Joshua at it again! As usual he claims he predicted Britain and European Union’s divorce (Brexit). Well I also predicted that he would also take credit for Brexit too. The Synagogue Church Of All Nations’ [SCOAN] founder has released a video claiming he foresaw the European Union splitting up because of the poor performance of … Read more
Recently, SCOAN head pastor T.B Joshua was in the news after claiming Ghana might be at risk of a terrorist attack. The preacher claimed he had foreseen the coming attack, possibly on a Thursday, Friday or Saturday.
Head pastor of the Synangogue Church of All Nations (SCOAN), T.B Joshua, has reversed his earlier prophecy detailing the increased possibility of a terrorist attack on Ghana. In his sermon on Sunday (April 17), the so-called prophet said Ghana is off the hook for an attack.
‘Prophet’ Temitope Balogun Joshua, who specialises in vague statements that his followers interpret as prescient when something remotely resembling what he said occurs (basically the Nostradamus of our time)- has a message for Ghanaians about the looming threat of terror attacks. During the Synagogue Church Of All Nations (SCOAN) church service Sunday, the Bishop offered another ‘prophecy’, asking his congregation to pray for West African neighbours Ghana and Nigeria, for acts of terror that would be committed against them in the near future.
It’s absolutely sickening, the way many ‘prophets’, or whatever they call themselves, but T.B Joshua in particular, attempt to make hay out of the massacre of other human beings to further their own nefarious purposes. Joshua’s entire brand is that he ‘predicts’ things, so he stands in front of his congregation and says the most generic stuff. Then when the inevitable occurs, rushes to claim credit for ‘predicting’ the doom in the first place.
Two South African children have filed a suit against T.B. Joshua at the Lagos State High Court in Igbo sere, Lagos, over the death of their father. The two children, Bulungu and Nora, three and six years old respectively, are looking for at least $520,000 (£370,000) in damages, per court papers quoted in the Nigerian media. The compensation they are seeking is calculated as the cost of expenses their father, Kalambaie Wa Kalambaie, would have made on them from his death till the day he would have turned 70 Their father was among 116 people killed when a hostel owned by the Synagogue Church of all Nations (SCOAN) collapsed in Lagos in 2014.
Dr Julius Awakame was the Ghanaian psychiatrist who used to practice in the UK and got into trouble after telling a patient she was demonically possessed and directed her to go get some ‘holy water from T.B Joshua for her ailment. For his unorthodox approach, Dr Awakame was relieved of his duties, and faced a medical practitioners tribunal hearing to determine his eventual fate.
The annual 31st watchnight at the Synagogue Church Of All Nations was cancelled yesterday as Prophet T.B. Joshua rather chose to address followers via his television station, Emmanuel TV from an undisclosed location. As usual Prophet Joshua shared prophesies for 2016, emphasizing on Nigeria, President Muhammadu Buhari and Africa. His exact words below: There will … Read more
The Ghanaian chapter of the Synagogue Church of All Nations (SCOAN), has on behalf of its founder Prophet T.B Joshua presented automobiles to the Ghana Police aimed at helping combat crime.
The donation entailed three pick up vehicles and twenty motor bikes, and was presented to the police command at the Police headquarters in Accra.
The lord’s work pays, and it pays very well. We are told we should not question these men of God because they are reaping the fruits of their labour. Well, the fruits are the little coins of desperate, poor, people.
I remember I was recently chastised for wondering why men of God needed ‘Neverland’ sized ranches to live on. It must be ok if it’s done in the name of the Lord, I guess.
With love from above, the Synagogue Church of All Nations (SCOAN), headed by Prophet T.B Joshua, and Emmanuel TV partners on Monday, September 14, 2015 donated medical equipment, disposables, and drugs to the Police Hospital and 37 Military Hospital in Accra.
The donation which was made on behalf of the prophet was as a result of Emmanuel TV and SCOAN’s social responsibility to contribute their quota in helping humanity and the needy in the society.
Like several governmental hospitals, the 37 Military Hospital & Police Hospital are not free from challenges and as such, this kind gesture from SCOAN and Emmanuel TV Partners will go a long way to curb the challenges facing these two hospitals.
Speaking to the media, Mr. Samuel Sackey, member of SCOAN and a partner of Emmanuel TV, who led the team said “love has always been the guiding principle of the church in spite of race; so even though Prophet T.B Joshua is far away from Ghana, he entreated them to love both the healthy and the sick in all spheres of life.”
He also reiterated that the presentation formed part of the prophet’s contribution towards the wellbeing of the sick and ensuring that such ones are catered for.
The coroner looking into the SCOAN church collapse that killed 116 people released its verdict today; indicting T.B Joshua’s church for negligence and calling for the prosecution of the contractors who were working on the building. Without wasting any time, the Synagogue has released a strongly worded statement, rubbishing the entire content of the report. … Read more
On the face of it, many dim-witted individuals will accept his measuring standard, and only the few smart people will see the flaws in his measuring rod, the Bible.
First of all, America, Nigeria, Ghana and most countries in the world are not governed using the Bible, so basically when it comes to such issues—what the Bible says is pretty irrelevant, it’s what the law says that matters.
No one is asking anyone to edit their Bible or Holy books because such books are full of nonsense, written by deluded folks and at a time people genuinely believed diseases were caused by the gods/God—so we don’t have time for that.
We are only calling and talking about the law—the legal framework which dictates what is right or wrong in any legal jurisdiction, taking into considering the progress of humanity.
Secondly, I would be interested to know T.B Joshua’s take on slavery and if he would opt for the Bible as his measuring standard on this subject too.
Hypocritically, I am sure if he is confronted with the question of slavery, he will leave the Bible behind because the Bible clearly endorses slavery while the law forbids it.
