Ghanaian gospel artiste, Amy Newman has expressed bitterness about the kind of lyrics used in most of the Ghanaian gospel songs being played these days.
According to Newman, she feels very sad when she listens to some of these songs they call gospel which carries no better inspirational messages as compared to the gospels released a few years back.

Gospel singers the ‘Tagoe Sisters’ have come out to clarify comments they made concerning the song ‘Enne Manya Anigye’, saying they never implied that Daughters of Glorious Jesus stole it from them.
According to them, their comments were to the effect that they were supposed to record the song, but the Daughters did it first, and that wasn’t any theft of their intellectual property, since the song wasn’t theirs to begin with.
