We are not even done treating the wounds inflicted on us by Shatta Wale and Stonebwoy during their VGMA battle but if care is not taken, Ghana may soon witness another bout in our entertainment industry.
Yes, because from my observation, the beef between Black Avenue Muzik’s boss, Desmond Blackmore aka D-Black and his colleague rapper, Tinny is about to be taken to another dangerous level.
We don’t know what goes on behind closed doors among these two artists but the way they are confidently accusing each other of homos*xuality in this context raises more than a few eyebrows.
These two artists, Tinny and D-Black, are still carrying on their silly feud over the comment Tinny made months ago that D-Black is one of the worst rappers in Ghana.
Whilst the dancehall battle is going on between Shatta Wale and Stonebwoy, one rapper trying to keep the rap game interesting is Tinny, who has targeted Kwaw Kese and D-Black for a few weeks now trying to stir up a beef.
Tinny said the two, alongside Patapaa, are the three worst rappers in Ghana.
The incessant back and forth between rappers Tinny and Kwaw Kese has entered another chapter. After Tinny attacked Kwaw Kese and he responded, Tinny has now also responded to Kwaw Kese’s response.
Kwaw Kese slammed Tinny for being broke and living with his parents at his grown age, prompting an angry Tinny to also hit back.
The feud sparked weeks ago by rapper Tinny declaring Kwaw Kese, D-Black and Patapaa as the worst rappers in Ghana continues to simmer under the radar.
The rappers who were attacked by Tinny have not taken the assault on them lightly and have all hit back at him in their own way.
I am sure the strategy that the ‘dead’ hiplife rapper, Tinny is using to come back into the music scene is by picking our popular artistes one by one and launches an attack on them.
Yes and if that is his plan, trust me it’s really working because these days we have been writing about him for his constant attacks on his colleagues.
If D-Black is known for one thing in the Ghanaian music industry, it’s for being an astute businessman. His rap skills have been described as mediocre for so long by so many people it’s pointless to even try to argue against that at this point.
Of course, success is life, even as a musician, is not simply measured in how good you are as a performer/entertainer. Business planning is a big part of being successful, as seen in the recent feud between Black and Tinny. Tinny is miles ahead of D-Black when it comes to rap and was the king of Ghanaian music a while back, but has somehow managed to piss all that away to slither into irrelevance whilst D-Black is still somewhat relevant.
CEO of Black Avenue Muzik, D-Black revealed in one of his interviews that one of the ailing Ghanaian rappers, Tinny came to beg him for a collaboration but he trashed his request.
According to D-Black, the reason why he snubbed him was that Tinny is a hypocrite, he spat insults on him during his interview on Hitz FM tagging him among the wackest rappers in Ghana including Kwaw Kese and Patapeezy.
D-Black has once again humiliated fellow rapper Tinny after the latter called him the third worst rapper in the country.
The insult obviously did not go down well with D-Black and he has taken shots at Tinny in return ever since.
For some reason, everytime someone names their list of ‘wackest’ rappers in Ghana, D-Black manages to find his way onto the list.
So it was no surprise when the ‘Vera’ hitmaker once again got listed as the third worst rapper in Ghana by Tinny, who has managed to stir up a hornest’s nest with his ranking.
A couple of days ago, we witnessed quite a most unusual attack on Kwaw Kese out of nowhere, after Tinny called him the second worst rapper in the entire country.
Now, these two aren’t exactly the best of friends but they have a past together, having both come up through the Hammer school of rap, thus such an unprovoked attack seemed quite extraordinary.
Once upon a time Tinny was a real force to be reckoned with in the Ghanaian rap industry. In the early to mid 2000s, he was the ‘big dog’ and sold more records and played more shows than almost any other rapper.
However the years have not been kind to Tinny. He has become almost irrelevant and despite all attempts to revive his career, things are not exactly going his way.

In an interview on Hitz FM’s Daybreak Hitz with the host, Andy Dosty, the “Makola Kwakwe” rapper aired that he is not arrogant but rather his level in the entertainment industry is different.
Apparently, all the criticism being lashed at Moesha Boduong for being a grade A ashawobrity is not because of the objectionable way she has chosen to live her life but simply for the fact that Ghanaians hate her for being successful whilst they are not.
The part-time actress and full-time ashawobrity took to social media to condemn people who criticize her, saying it’s purely done out of hatred and jealousy.
