Do we call this ‘Year of return’? Well, the United States of America per its strict immigration laws has deported 642 Ghanaians ─ adding up to the over 30 million citizens in Ghana.
These deported Ghanaians were found guilty of various immigration offences including “acts that undermined border control and the integrity of the US immigration system, in three years”.
