Ghana Premier League champions Wa All Stars have been kicked out of the CAF Champions league after a 2-0 loss away to Al Ahli Tripoli capped off a miserable, two game run in the tournament for them.

The 2-0 loss means the Libyan club beat the Ghanaians 5-1 on aggregate, kicking them out of the continental club competition at their first try.

New Edubiase United, Sekondi Hasaacas and Techiman City FC said their goodbye’s to the top flight at the end of the day’s action, whilst Hearts of Oak rued a missed opportunity to be crowned champions, eventually finishing third.
