So if the Human Rights Court did not rule that the continuous holding of Bull Dog (real name Lawrence Nana Asiama Hanson) in Police custody was a clear violation of his Human Rights and goes against the traditional notion of substantial justice, he would have been remanded in jail again today as the prosecutors beg for more time…huh?

When BullDog who has been charged with the murder of Fennec Okyere and conspiracy to murder appeared at the Accra Magistrate Court today, the prosecutors begged the Court for more time to be able to carry on with investigation—a request the Court granted, adjourning the case to June, 30.

It is such actions of the prosecuting body that have led people to ask, what was the point in arresting and detaining Bull Dog if they did not have enough evidence to present in Court, in relation to the charges levelled against him…
