Indeed, the Ghana Football Association has SACKED coach-Kwesi Appiah in line with yesterday’s speculations—-a move which could see Kwesi Appiah being paid over 800,000 dollars if he is to get his two year contract salary as FIFA rules demand. We hear the GFA is looking to negotiate on this, and has already made an offer of 100,000 dollars as compensation for the repudiation of contract.

Putting the expected SACKING in a polite way, GFA wrote on their official website the below;

GFA And Kwesi Appiah Agree To Mutually Part Ways

“The Ghana Football Association (GFA) and Black Stars coach James Kwesi Appiah have agreed to mutually part ways.

The two parties met on Friday morning to reach the agreement on the departure of Mr. Appiah.

The lawyers of the two parties will meet next week to decide on the severance package for Mr. Appiah based on the contract of his appointment.

There have been several accusations and counter accusations but I’ve always maintained that, there was something behind why Kevin Prince Boateng being kicked out of Black Stars’ camp—and not because he spoke any offensive words towards the coach.

In fact, it has been repeated by Kevin Prince Boateng that, the so called incident with the coach where he was alleged to have used foul language (cited by the GFA as the reason for his indefinite suspension) took place on Sunday. And so if they wanted to punish him for that (assuming it is true that he used such words), why was he not kicked out on Monday or Tuesday but rather, Thursday?

Again, coach-Kwesi Appiah after that Sunday incident said in an interview that, he had a misunderstanding with Kevin Prince Boateng—and that things had been resolved. That was before Thursday’s boot…

According to Kevin Prince Boateng, the real reason he was kicked out is because he asked about what ‘what happened to the money FIFA gave to the Black Stars’.

After sacking Sulley Muntari and Kevin Prince Boateng from the Black Star’s camp few hours ago, the Ghana Football Association (GFA) has approved coach Kwesi Appiah’s decision to suspend both Sulley Muntari and Kevin-Prince Boateng indefinitely from the Black Stars.

The suspension takes immediate effect. According to GFA, Kevin Prince Boateng’s indefinite suspension is due to vulgar verbal insults he threw at the Black Stars coach-Kwesi Appiah during the team’s training session in Maceio this week.

Kevin Prince Boateng who has already left the team’s camp have had his accreditation for the 2014 World Cup withdrawn with immediate effect.

Kevin Prince Boateng has confirmed he has been sent home but denied the charges, telling the German magazine Sport-Bild: “Sulley Muntari and I were just joking around, and the coach stopped the session and sent us back to the changing room.

“Afterwards I went to him and asked what he had against me and he started yelling. He insulted me. There were words like: ‘Fuck off’.”

Boateng added he “absolutely accepts” his suspension, but added: “No-one should think I insulted the coach. I’m travelling now, and I wish my colleagues all the best for the match against Portugal.”
