@Amoah,Thank you as far as i know the irish HATED black people back then this is because the irish could hardly ever find jobs because they couldnt compete with slave labor, and they felt like the blacks were stealing all of their jobs when the irish were asked to fight in the civil war, they were outraged: why should THEY fight for the freedom of a group of people they HATE? before/during the civil war in protest to the draft, they beat/m****acred hundreds of free blacks they were NOT best of friends
