Tic Tac and many old time stars have been insulted numerous times by Shatta Wale, who has said some of them don’t have any sense which is why they are now paupers, plus many other insults.
Tic Tac has struck back at Shatta now, saying the so-called ‘dancehall king’ is nowhere near the level he managed to achieve in his career.
The veteran rapper was speaking following his receipt of a Ghc 300,000 judgement win over Melcom in a court case, noting that the judgement came just a few days after Shatta Wale said that God would punish him (Tic Tac).
Pushing back against Shatta Wale’s claims to be the biggest artist in Ghana, Tic Tac said Shatta cannot compare himself to him in terms of selling Ghana music outside.
“It is because of something, if not Shatta cannot be compared to me because he is not anywhere near my level. I created history back in the day in Nigeria.” Tic Tac said.
“You pride yourself that you have been successful but if you couldn’t even continue what I did beyond the shores of Ghana, to even Nigeria, I am the one who should be angry at you for not being able to raise Ghana music.” he added.
This is the problem with Shatta Wale’s calls for Ghanaians to ‘support your own’ in his quest for others to join his infantile Wizkid beef — he has insulted almost everyone in Ghana but now wants those same people he has insulted to ‘support’ him.
