THE text line for voting for the MTN Ghana Music Awards scheme has been activated. Therefore the MTN short code 1767 can be accessed by the general public who are encouraged to take part in the selection process by voting their favourite to win awards via text.

The voting process is simple enough, all one needs to do is send the alphabet representing the category that one wants to vote for to the MTN short code 1767. A reply text will follow with the list of that category and the patron can chose their nominee and send to the short code again. A confirmation text will confirm the validity of the vote.

I want to ask those people who come on here to complain about the site if they know what kind of site it is.  Have those people heard of a site called Tmz.Com?  GC is an entertainment site just like them.

That’s where I read most of the news of the American celebrities.  I never see people leave any dumb comments about Tmz hating on celebrities but every time I come on here I realise how people want to complain about GC hating on one celebrity or the other.

Is it that Ghanaians don’t know what entertainment is or what? Do they even realise that without these entertainment sites these celebrities would be nothing?

‘Asabaako! Music festival’, More than Just music

Busua, a little village tucked away from Takoradi, the capital of Western Region, resonated to the sounds of the ‘Asabaako! Music Festival’ throughout Ghana’s 54th Independence celebrations from March 5 to 7. The buzz of ‘Asaabako!’ travelled fast and wide across the predominantly fishing and farming community, as posters and flyers littered the village.
