VIDEO: Meet the Ghanaian Evangelist Who Says Using A Condom is A SIN | I Say Being Ignorant is Rather A SIN

Published by

The problem with a free society is that everyone can wake up and throw out to the public whatever BS interpretation he comes up with out of a holy book.

While the world is advocating for the use of condoms mainly to help fight STIs, certain uninformed Ghanaian preachers like the one in the video below with Bronze Age mentalities—are out there telling people it’s a SIN to use a condom.

And as usual, he reaches for a Bible passage to back up his nonsense.

In a video below obtained by GhanaCelebrities.Com, one of the many in-car evangelists in Ghana is heard saying, men who use condoms are going to face the wrath of God because they are murderers—backing this up with the Bible story where God killed a man for practicing coitus interruptus.

If you think it’s just one preacher making a fool out of himself, note that the entire Catholic Church used to preach this doctrine—and most shockingly even in those parts of Africa where HIV/AIDS is at large.

It was only in 2010 that Pope Benedict XV signaled a slight change, saying, there could be moral justification for the use of condoms. And this was compelled by “decades of fierce opposition to the use of all contraception.”

People can be religious without being stupid and I mean we ought to put humanity first—and realize that, certain Bible stories have lost their irrelevance.

I am sure if men stop using condoms and start impregnating women in huge numbers, this preacher man will provide the needed financial support and care. And he will also become the all curing doctor to take care of the STI outbreak.

It’s time authorities start paying attention to the propagation of such absurd doctrines, capable of causing human harm.

Apart from the absence of violence, what’s the difference between what this man is preaching and ‘terrorism’? They all kill…
